BOARDING & CARE
We offer personal, individualized care for your horses in a calm and secure environment. We have a full-time staff with extensive experience in horse care and management. We customize the level of care to the individual needs of the horse.
Boarding Rates and What’s Included
Our standard full board rates begin at $750 per month. This includes a 12 x 12 stall with a window and ample turnout. Horses are fed twice daily, and stalls are cleaned one to two times each day. Boarding also includes holding for the farrier and veterinarian, minor wound care, and complimentary trailer parking. Extra services such as blanketing or extensive medical care are available for an additional charge.
Training Requirement
Because Marigold Stables is both a boarding and training facility, all boarders are required to participate in a minimum of four lessons or training rides each month with our professional staff.
Feed and Hay Program
Board rates do not include feed and hay. Each boarder sets up an account with our local feed store, and our staff conveniently places feed orders on their behalf. Supplements are welcomed, though we request they be provided in SmartPaks or otherwise prepackaged for accuracy. Each year, Marigold Stables prepurchases high-quality coastal bermuda hay; boarders pay prevailing rates for the hay their horse consumes. Other hays, such as a Timothy mix, are also available through our local feed store.
Turnout Philosophy
At Marigold Stables, we pride ourselves on allowing horses to be horses. We offer both small-herd and large-herd turnout on lush, well-maintained grass pastures that are seeded and fertilized annually to ensure quality grazing.
